What's in a Name?

Seventeen Feet restaurant is named for a simple reason. The magnificent live oaks that line St. Charles Avenue are trimmed to a height of seventeen feet each year for Mardi Gras, giving the Mardi Gras floats room to pass underneath. Our restaurant’s name speaks to our connection to the city and the Garden District we call home. Join us in the morning for a classic New Orleans breakfast, with options like frittatas or biscuits and gravy, or linger over cocktails and small plates come dinnertime.
